University Singers

Dr. Jonathan Babcock, director

For twenty years the Texas State University Singers has been one of the premiere performing ensembles of the Texas State School of Music. Directed by Jonathan Babcock since 2008, the choir has performed at State and National festivals including the 2010 National ACDA convention in Dallas. The sixty member ensemble contains both music and non-music majors, and performs repertoire of all styles and time periods.

The 2019-2020 Season will include Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb, Eric Whitacre's Fly to Paradise as well as works by David DelTredici, Clement Janequin & Dan Forrest.
