Texas State University Singers

For fifteen years the Texas State University Singers has been one of the premiere performing ensembles of the Texas State School of Music. Directed by Jonathan Babcock since 2008, the choir has performed at State and National festivals including the 2010 National ACDA convention in Dallas. The sixty member ensemble contains both music and non-music majors, and performs repertoire of all styles and time periods.

The 2017-2018 Season will include performances of Russell Schulz' newly released Requiem, Debussy's Trois Chanson, The premiere of Roger Henry's remembrance, and a concert of spirituals and gospel songs under the direction of renowned conductor and composer Stacey V. Gibbs.
